A Four-Day Leadership Experience for Ohio District Teams

The Roadmap Academy, hosted by AASA, The School Superintendents Association, is a blended learning journey designed to help Ohio school district leadership teams activate their future-ready vision. We are also pleased to partner with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio to offer additional benefits to schools in their region.

Roadmap for Readiness, Alignment, & Activation

Through two days in-person and two virtual learning sessions, participants will:

  • Align on a district vision connected to the AASA Public Education Promise and the
    Portrait of a Graduate.
  • Identify and plan the leadership, instructional, and cultural shifts needed to succeed.
  • Use appreciative inquiry tools and techniques to build on your strengths and successes in your journey through readiness, alignment and activation.
  • Make connections with peers across Ohio.
  • Leverage AASA’s Well-Being Toolkit to embed hope, resilience, agency, and belonging in classrooms and communities as essential conditions for learning.

FAQs

Who is Roadmap Academy for?

Roadmap Academy is designed for school district leadership teams of up to five (superintendents, central office leaders, principals, teacher-leaders).

What is the investment?

$6,000 – Any Ohio district
$4,000 – SOAR Ohio districts (Learn more about joining SOAR Ohio)
$2,000 – Foundation for Appalachian Ohio scholarship rate (Email Heather Conlee at hconlee@aasa.org to find out if you are eligible for this scholarship.)

When is it?

Kick-Off Event (In-Person, Location TBD): October 21 & 22, 2025

Virtual Event: February 24 & 25, 2026
