This report will include landscape shifts impacting our children’s future; a look back at defining milestones; highlights
of school systems leading this transformation; examples of related state policy; key priorities to accelerate 21st
century education; and specific calls to action for educators, school system leaders, community members, and policy
makers.

Session: 21st Century Education: Are We There Yet? | February 15, 2020 Our session will explore where educational systems are 20
years into the 21st century. The world is dramatically changing at an increasingly rapid pace which has significant implications for the
kind of educational experience our students need to compete and thrive in this global economy. Participants will explore research findings
and will participate in interactive discussions with superintendents leading this work in their respective districts.
