Understanding & Using Value-Added Analysis is an interactive toolkit designed to help school leaders increase their own knowledge of the fundamentals of value-added analysis, its power as a diagnostic school improvement tool and how to share this information with others.
Created and tested by educators, this toolkit includes CD-ROMs, DVD, desktop reference, user manual and other materials that outline strategies to help educators learn to access, navigate and interpret value-added information.
The more educators understand the valuable diagnostic information available in value-added reports, the better they will be able to use this information to make sound decisions about improving student achievement.
In addition to the complete toolkit, Battelle for Kids also offers some materials from Module II and IV for individual purchase to help train larger groups.
